Kuwait appointed Citigroup, Ernst & Young, and an aviation services firm to handle the privatization of the country's national carrier, Kuwait news agency (Kuna) said.
Citing a government committee, Kuna said the contracts will be signed in the coming days.
Kuwait's parliament approved a plan in 2008 to privatize Kuwait Airways. Under the plan, the government will sell 40% of Kuwait Airways to the public and 35% to a long-term investor.
