The new passenger terminal at Prince Muhammad International Airport in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, will be operational by the first week of October, said Madinah's Governer, Prince Abdul Aziz bin Majed.

"Prince Muhammad Airport will witness qualitative development in the coming days. We have instructed the officials to carry out the project in the best way,"  Prince Abdul Aziz was quoted as saying by Arab News.
The airport's annual capacity is expected to rise to 25 million passengers after the completion of the first phase of the expansion project in 2014, the report said.
