Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has obtained an international ISO certification in Information Security Management System (ISO 27001), and Business Continuity Management System (ISO 22301), for both Security Operations Center and Network Operations Center.

This came after GACA applied all international standards to enhance the level of cybersecurity and ensure business continuity.

This comes within the framework of the continuous efforts made by GACA to achieve a secure cyber environment that supports aviation with reliable technical systems and services in line with GACA’s vision to achieve a safe atmosphere in accordance with the most accurate global safety standards, in addition to building a modern airport system with advanced services.

It is worth noting that GACA enjoys a great and continuous support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense (may God protect them both).

This qualitative achievement is an extension of GACA’s vision to raise the level of performance in a manner befitting the Kingdom’s standing and our rational leadership ambition, and it goes in line with the goals of the Kingdom's vision 2030.
