New innovations for the U.S. Army, including the Ground Launched Small Diameter Bomb and AH-6 Light Attack/Reconnaissance helicopter, are among the capabilities Boeing will showcase during the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting & Exposition, October 22-24 in Washington.

"America’s soldiers face the opposing challenges of a rapidly evolving battlespace and a tough economic environment. We look forward to talking with our Army customer about how we can apply our innovative team and advanced technologies to effectively and affordably support their essential mission," said Jamey Moran, Boeing Vice President of Army Systems.

The Boeing exhibit will feature the company's enduring force, connectivity, security, awareness, support and innovation solutions for the Army. These include the AH-64D Apache and CH-47F Chinook helicopters; C4ISR and cybersecurity solutions; Integrated Air and Missile Defense; unmanned airborne systems; Wideband Global SATCOM; and Joint Recovery and Distribution System.

Boeing test pilots will discuss the full-scale AH-6 Light Attack/Reconnaissance helicopter, which will be on display in the booth. Boeing representatives also will highlight how the company can support the emerging need for aerial targets, as well as the cross-domain information-sharing capabilities that are part of Boeing's C4ISR situational awareness portfolio.
