Between 11th and 15th June, CZ took part in one of the most important international exhibitions focused on defense and security technologies, Eurosatory 2018. The 14th edition saw more than 1,800 exhibitors from 63 countries across the globe take part. Over the five days, more than 57,000 visitors from the professional community came through its doors.
CZ presented its comprehensive CZ military weapons program as well as the CZ 4M ballistic protection products and tactical accessories. One of its most admired products was the highly accurate, brand new sniper rifle, the CZ TSR in .308 Winchester caliber, intended for the Armed Forces and long distance shooting. Regarding the development of this weapon, the company relied not only on its extensive experience with the manufacture of sniper specials but also worked closely with elite police and military professionals.
Visitors also showed great interest in the CZ BREN 2 multicaliber assault rifle and the CZ SCORPION EVO 3 A1 submachine gun.
Other showcased products included the CZ P-10 C OR service and defense pistol and the CZ Shadow 2 OR, a primarily sports model. For each model with the OR (Optics Ready) designation, specially designed mounting plates have been machined and finished with an extremely durable surface carried out by nitriding. The slide modification is the result of unique CZ know-how. Thanks to this, the company has managed to perfectly match the shape of the plates with the design of the weapons, thus achieving an exceptionally low position for collimator sights without compromising the safety and reliability of the weapon.
Besides the hammerless CZ P-10 C, visitors were also able to inspect the CZ P-09 and CZ P-07 polymer service pistols, as well as the CZ Shadow 2 sports model. There was also the CZ P-09 Kadet which is now available as a separate conversion as well as a complete and affordable rimfire pistol. To complete the presentation, the company also presented a full portfolio of ballistic vests, combat uniforms and tactical clothing for the military. Together with CZ weapons, these products, made by CZ 4M, constitute a comprehensive range of equipment suitable for Armed Forces around the world.
