SEGMA will organize the 9th Middle East Special Operations Commanders Conference (MESOC 2018) on May 7, 2018, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Amman, Jordan.
Held under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II, MESOC 2018 is supported by the King Abdullah II Special Forces Group and is the official conference of the Special Operations Forces Exhibition (SOFEX), now in its 12th edition.
MESOC 2018 will feature a high-powered speaker line-up of Special Operations Forces Commanders from around the world to discuss the latest trends in the field together with more than 500 high level delegates from the global special operations forces community.
This year MESOC 2018 will cover topics such as New Trends in Hybrid Warfare, Lessons Learned from the War against ISIL, Improving Battlefield against Irregular Threats, Tactical ISR and Remotely Piloted Aircraft, Rapidly Deployable C4I Systems, and Combat Search and Rescue in Hostile Environments. Founded in 1996 by His Majesty King Abdullah II, The Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX) takes place biennially at the King Abdullah I Airbase in Amman in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
SOFEX is held under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Chairmanship of HRH Prince Feisal Bin Al Hussein and with the full support of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF).
SOFEX is a four-day event (07-10 May) that kicks off with a prominent one day conference (MESOC).
The SOFEX Exhibition surpasses expectations with every new edition in terms of an increase in the number of participants including Exhibiting Companies, International Pavilions, International Delegates and International Delegations headed by Ministers of Defense, Chiefs-of-Staff and Special Operations Commanders, as well as numerous deals that are signed at every SOFEX event.
The 75,000 m² of indoor and outdoor exhibition space attracts exhibitors and national pavilions from all corners of the globe.
