Lockheed Martin announced that it is joining forces with the Saudi Federation for Robotics and RC Sports to sponsor the National RC Aircraft Championship. The collaboration reflects Lockheed Martin’s continuing commitment to fostering advanced technology-led innovation and contributing to the development of human capital in Saudi Arabia, in line with the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030.
The National RC Aircraft Championship, scheduled to take place in November in Riyadh, will bring together some of the most talented remote-controlled aviation enthusiasts. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their skills, creativity, and technical prowess in a series of challenging events designed to test their abilities. Among the primary objectives of the Saudi Federation for Robotics and RC Sports in conceptualizing the event is to position Saudi Arabia as a regional and global hotspot in the fields of robotics and wireless sports by fostering opportunities that empower young Saudis and contribute to the Kingdom’s future economic opportunities.
