The two-week joint military exercise between the ground forces of the UAE and the United States Army, known as, “Iron Union 6”, started Sunday, Emirates News Agency WAM reported.

The exercise is aimed at developing and promoting ties between both countries through training, and exchanging of military expertise, and to raise their combat capabilities and improve skills of their ground forces.

The joint exercise of the UAE ground forces with friendly countries will promote exchange of knowledge, as well as develop the skills and efficiency of its forces and raise their level of combat readiness using the most advanced military equipment, and to benefit from mutual expertise, promote international cooperation in joint military operations, as well as achieve country’s goal of addressing current global challenges and crises.
