Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz (photo) met Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah in Kuwait City.

He also met First Deputy Premier and Defense Minister Sheikh Nasser bin Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, on the sidelines of his official visit to Kuwait.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said that the two meetings focused on aspects of joint cooperation binding the two countries. Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz held a session of official talks with Kuwaiti Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah and discussed security cooperation. 

The Saudi Ministry of Interior said the two sides stressed the two leaderships' keenness to overcome all difficulties to unify visions on latest developments on the regional and international arenas.

The talks session was attended by a number of senior officials of the two countries, it added.

Furthermore, the Saudi Minister of Interior met in Manama with Bahraini Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

At the outset of the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, to the Bahraini Prime Minister.

During the meeting, they reviewed fraternal relations and means of further bolstering joint cooperation in all fields, in addition to regional and international developments.

The meeting was attended by a number of officials.

Bahrain’s Interior Minister Lt-General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received HRH Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef Al Saud on his arrival to Bahrain.

On 21 June 2017, The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal order appointing Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as Minister of Interior.

Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Saud Bin Nayef was born on November 4, 1983.

He graduated from Dhahran Ahliya School and studied law at King Saud University before working in the private sector.

When King Salman became the ruler of the kingdom, he was appointed as advisor at the Royal Court in the law department and later in the border department, according to the biography posted by Saudi news site Al Marsad.

He worked for six months in the political division then as Advisor at the Office of the Minister of Defense. In May 2016, he was appointed Advisor to the Minister of Interior.
