European aircraft manufacturer Airbus said Wednesday it received 60 orders and delivered 122 planes so far this year.
US rival, Boeing, received 83 orders since January, according to its website.
The latest Airbus figures include a firm order signed in March from US carrier United Airlines for 25 long-haul A350 aircraft, carrying a list price of 6.3 billion dollars (4.7 billion euros).
Malaysia Airlines recently confirmed a draft agreement signed in December covering 17 long-haul A330s. Airbus said it had received no order cancellations so far this year.
