Kingdom Business Aviation Conference 2015, held on 24th - 25th November 2015 at the Maghwat Conference Center in Hail, Saudi Arabia was inaugurated by H.R.H Prince Saud bin Abdul Muhsin Al Saud (photo), Governor of Hail.
The two days conference was organized by the High Commission of the Hail Development Council and managed by Arabian SAS for Events under the patronage of General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) - Saudi Arabia.
H.E. Sulaiman Abdullah Al Hamdan, President of GACA, delivered the keynote speech in the conference. The Saudi royal family members, high net worth individuals and over 200 delegates from 12 countries attended the event including a high level delegation from GACA, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Imarah of Hail, Chamber of Commerce.
Several topics like an Overview on the business aviation industry in the Middle East, regulatory perspective, aircraft design, aircraft charter & leasing, pressing issues, recommendations, solutions, trends and future opportunities were discussed and presented by the elite panel of speakers and 28 exhibitors including GACA, Dubai South, Alpha Star, Nesma Airlines, NassJet, ExecuJet, Arabasco, Rockwell Collins, SITA, Avico, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Saudi Private Aviation, Tronair, AirJet Designs, DC Aviation, RDT, IMSS - Oman, and others. On this occasion, Nesma Airlines announced its commencement of its passenger flight operations from the Hail airport as its hub, to various domestic destinations in Saudi Arabia which will operate scheduled flights.
The 2nd edition of this event named as “Saudi Business Aviation Expo” will be held at the Hail airport on 26-28th of October 2016. This event will feature static display of private jets, exhibits of products and demonstration of services in an Indoor exhibition area and custom made pavilions.
Mr. Solayman Al Hamdan, the President of Arabian SAS for Events said: “In view of the rapid growth of the business aviation industry in the Middle East region; with Saudi Arabia being the largest economy and the market leader in the business aviation industry, recording over 60% of the private jets movements among the GCC states alone, and based on the sound success of the first edition of this event, the forthcoming edition of the event in 2016 will feature static aircraft display and attract more participants from various countries”.
