Airbus Group Africa and Middle East received the esteemed Taqdeer Award at a ceremony held at the Dubai World Trade Centre under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council.

Airbus Group was recognized for fostering diversity, positive work culture, career development opportunities and promoting staff engagement as essential components of its human resources policy and practices.

The Taqdeer Award aims to enhance relationship between companies and workers by recognizing excellence in labor practices and setting new benchmarks across various industries in Dubai.

Initially launched for companies in the construction sector, the award now extends to individuals and organizations operating in the free zones.

Habib Fekih, President of Airbus Group Africa and Middle East and Jean Monroy, Head of HR Airbus Group Africa and Middle East received the award from H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation.

Headquartered in the Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority (DAFZA), Airbus Group Africa and Middle East opened its regional office in 2006 and currently employs more than 3000 people of various nationalities.
