HENSOLDT, a European cutting-edge technology center with regards to designing, developing, producing, and testing space optronics and radar electronics solutions, will be present at The International Astronautical Congress 2021, taking place at Dubai World Trade Center from 25-29 October.

HENSOLDT’s heritage in the space business goes right back to the moon landing and Apollo 11. Since then, HENSOLDT has also successfully participated in earth observation missions and surveys of Mercury and Jupiter’s icy moons. The company’s AESA (active electronically scanned array) radars have been used effectively in earth observation missions for more than twenty years. These capabilities are complemented by the HENSOLDT Space Consultancy, which advises space agencies such as France’s CNES, Europe’s ESA and America’s NASA as well as space companies on mission execution.

HENSOLDT’s customer value is its ability to dovetail design and systems engineering with manufacturing, integration, alignment, and verification processes. Our capabilities in space range from protection in space, planet, and space observation to optical communication in space up to supporting exploration missions.

HENSOLDT has been providing sensor solutions for innovative optics and radar instruments for earth observation, meteorological and communications satellites as well as exploration missions for more than 60 years.

Based in Taufkirchen near Munich, Germany, HENSOLDT develops sensor solutions for defense and security applications. Its main product areas are radars and opto-electronic systems, electronic reconnaissance, and avionics.
