Chief of General Staff of the Royal Saudi Armed Forces Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, accompanied by Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces Lieutenant General Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Ghufaili, and a number of Senior Defense Ministry Officers attended the opening ceremony of Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2022) being held in Doha under the patronage of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.
On the sidelines of DIMDEX 2022, held under the theme “Connecting the World’s Maritime Defence and Security Community”, the Saudi Chief of General Staff met with Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs of the State of Qatar; and Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Mohammed bin Aqeel Al Nabit, Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces respectively.
During the two meetings, they reviewed the relations of military and defense cooperation between the two brotherly countries, praising the success of DIMDEX 2022, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
They also discussed a number of issues of common interest.
