Assistant Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Executive Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Bayari, met Wednesday with the Polish Under Secretary of State in the Ministry of National Defense Michał Wiśniewski on the sidelines of the 2023 International Defense Industry Exhibition (MSPO) held in the Republic of Poland.

The meeting went over bilateral relations as well as a number of topics of mutual concern, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Earlier, on 10 July 2023, Polish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Robert Rostek and Military Attaché Colonel Artur Rochnowski met with the Saudi Deputy Defense Minister for Executive Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Bayari at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense in Riyadh. During the meeting, the ongoing cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Poland was discussed, the Polish Government’s Website said in a statement.

Also in Warsaw, Al-Bayari met with the Minister of Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) of the Republic of Korea, Eom Donghwan (photo). The two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in the fields of defense and military industries, SAP added.

Al-Bayari, who is heading the Kingdom’s delegation to the 31st edition of MSPO, also met members of the Saudi Military Attaché in Warsaw. The meeting discussed latest developments pertaining the Ministry of Defense Development Program.

In another development, the Royal Saudi Air Force concluded Wednesday its participation in the Athens Air Show 2023 with two Typhoon jets and the aircraft of the Saudi Falcons Aerobatic Team.

The leader of the Saudi Falcons Aerobatic Team, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Fares, said that the participation of the Royal Saudi Air Force included the professional team air show by the Saudi Falcons and another individual shows by the Typhoon jets, which demonstrated the high level and skills of Saudi pilots.
