General Saïd Chanegriha, , Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, arrived on 12 November 2023 to the People’s Republic of China, where he was welcomed, at Beijing International Airport, by Brigadier General Jan Bao Chgin, Deputy Chief of the International Cooperation Office (OIMC).

This visit, carried out by the General at the head of a military delegation, falls within the framework of the strengthening of friendship ties and relations of military cooperation between the Algerian People’s National Army and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.

During the first day of his visit, General Saïd Chanegriha carried out an expanded working session with executives of the Chinese company “Poly Technologies Inc.”, which specializes in military industries.

During this meeting, he followed a detailed presentation on the updated products and industries of this company. and gained insights into China’s advancements in this field, the Algerian Ministry of Defence said in a statement.

After that, General Chanegriha and his accompanying delegation had another meeting with executives of the Chinese Corporation public (CETC), which specializes in the field of electronics defence. He received a presentation on the company’s work and experience in the field of defence and maintenance, as well as means of coordination and cooperation to enhance the strategic partnership between Algeria and China.
