Raytheon, an RTX business, is showcasing a wide range of technological capabilities that advance multi-domain operations and provide combat proven air and missile defence, at the ongoing Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2024).

“Being part of one of the region’s leading industry exhibitions enables us to demonstrate how our technological advancements and defence solutions help secure the complete defence domain and address the priorities of our customers in Qatar and the region,” said Leslie W Bonde, Jr. Managing Director, Raytheon Doha.

“Our participation in DIMDEX reaffirms Raytheon’s ongoing commitment to being an effective partner in Qatar’s current and future defense, military and civilian needs, while also aligning with the country’s long-term economic and security ambitions,” he added.

Raytheon is highlighting its expertise in developing advanced counter-unmanned aircraft systems and a portfolio of combat-proven air and missile defence sensors and effectors. Of note, Raytheon is showcasing the Lower-Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor, GhostEye MR medium-range air and missile defense radar, and the National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System, all systems designed to detect and defeat complex threats across the battlespace.

Raytheon is also highlighting its existing Early Warning Radar programme in Qatar. The radar can track more than 1,000 objects at the same time from more than 5,000 kilometres away. It can tell ballistic missile and air-breathing threats from non-threats, and it can deter potential attacks.
