Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani met with Minister of National Defence of Turkiye Yasar Guler and his accompanying delegation in Doha on Tuesday.
On the occasion, an official reception ceremony was held for the visiting Minister his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics of common interest and the ways to enhance and develop them, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
A number of agreements were also signed between Barzan Holding owned by Qatar’s Ministry of Defence, and Turkish MKE and ISFALT companies owned by the Turkish Ministry of Defence, with the aim of boosting cooperation in defense technology and military manufacturing fields.
The meeting and signing ceremony were attended by a number of senior officials and officers from both sides.
