Bahraini-British Military Committee Meeting Concludes in London

On 14 November, Bahrain’s Minister of Defence Affairs, Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, led the Kingdom’s delegation to the meeting of the Bahraini-British Joint Military Committee in London.

Kashif Shandy, Chairman of the Middle East Team at the UK Ministry of Defence headed the British delegation.

The meeting discussed ways to advance military cooperation and coordination between the two countries, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

On 15 November, Bahrain’s Minister of Defence Affairs, led the Kingdom’s delegation to the concluding meeting of the Bahraini-British Joint Military Committee.

Major General Adrian Reilly, Assistant Chief of Staff for Strategy at the Ministry of Defense in the United Kingdom, chaired the British side.

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen military cooperation between the two countries.

In another development, Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s National Guard Staff Director, received in Manama Lieutenant General Ahsan Gulrez, the Pakistani Director General of Joint Staff.

The meeting discussed topics of common interest.

Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud conveyed the greetings of General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the President of the National Guard.

He praised the advanced military cooperation between the two sides.

Gulrez expressed his appreciation to the National Guard Staff Director for his keenness in developing bilateral cooperation, affirming the strong relations between the two countries.

The minutes of the joint Bahraini-British Military Committee meeting were signed at the end of the meeting.
