RENK Group AG, a leading supplier of military and civilian propulsion solutions and Iveco Defence Vehicles (IDV), a company of Iveco Group N.V. specialized in defense and civil protection vehicles, have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at evaluating the potential of RENK and IDV drive technologies for future combat platforms.

This cooperation agreement is an important step enabling both parties to actively contribute to accelerating the tracked vehicle programs for their customers. It also addresses the need to strengthen the European supply chain and increase production capacity.

The aim of the agreement is to share the know-how and experience of both parties in the development and manufacturing of powertrain solutions, technologies and equipment.

IDV, a company of Iveco Group, is dedicated to delivering innovative automotive and protection solutions to meet the needs of military customers worldwide. The company manufactures specialist logistic, protected, and armoured vehicles, as well as marketing IVECO’s full commercial range, adapted as necessary to meet the demands of the military user.
