Raytheon Saudi Arabia, an RTX business headquartered in Riyadh, announced the appointment of Ahmad Al Salamah as Managing Director. A seasoned aerospace and defense industry veteran, Al Salamah will be responsible for advancing the company’s business growth objectives, supporting the Kingdom’s defense capabilities, and building on the ongoing defense localization work of Raytheon Saudi Arabia.

Prior to joining Raytheon Saudi Arabia, Al Salamah worked for BAE Systems Saudi Arabia where he spent 29 years in positions of increasing responsibility. He brings a wealth of experience in engineering, project management and executive leadership having most recently led the development and execution of naval projects to the Royal Saudi Navy. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum.
Raytheon Saudi Arabia is an RTX subsidiary created in 2017 as a local entity to accelerate the company’s participation in the Kingdom’s industrial ecosystem. It employs over 250 people in Riyadh and Jeddah, with Saudi nationals accounting for more than 60-percent of the workforce.
