Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces HE Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit met Sunday with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States General Charles Brown during his visit to the United States of America.

The Chief of Staff also met with Chief of Staff of the US Army General Randy George.

He also visited the MacDill Air Force Base in the State of Florida, where he met with Commander of the US Central Command General Michael Kurilla.

Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Nabit concluded the tour by visiting the Boeing Defence, Space and Security (BDS) company headquarters where he met with Vice-President of Business Development and Strategy at BDS Bernd Peters.

The visit and meetings were attended by a number of senior officers from both sides, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

Earlier last week, Qatar’s Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani met in Doha on Wednesday with Deputy National Security Advisor for Cyber and Emerging Technologies in the United States Anne Neuberger in Washington.
