The 5th edition of Secutech Vietnam, the country’s leading trade fair for the security and fire industries, will be held from 22–24 August 2012 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC).

Organized by Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd and Vietfair, the show is attracting 100 exhibitors who will showcase their latest security equipment and technologies.  In addition, more than 5,000 professional visitors from different parts of Vietnam are expected to visit the show.

Parson Lee, Managing Director for Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd, said: “Secutech Vietnam is the country’s most professional platform for the security and fire safety industries offering proven sourcing and networking opportunities for visitors who will include industry distributors, wholesalers, security service providers, system integrators, as well as end users representing government, banking and education institutions.  Industry people are optimistic about the Vietnamese market and this can be seen with well-known brands such as Axis, Bosch, Honeywell Security, Merit Lilin, Panasonic, Samsung, Tyco and Vivotek choosing to exhibit at the show.”

Altogether there are 14 countries and regions exhibiting at the show, including: Canada, China, France, India, Japan, Germany, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, UK, US, and Vietnam.

Products and technologies from these exhibitors range from surveillance, IP equipment, access control, wireless transmission home and building automation to firefighting devices, rescue equipment, and hazard control equipment.

Secutech Vietnam is arranging various seminars and demonstrations to enhance the visitor experience. One highlight is the IP Camera & NVR Demonstration, where demonstrations of different brands will be carried out at the same time to allow performance comparison.

The Global Digital Surveillance Forum (GDSF) Vietnam has always been a focus point at Secutech Vietnam and this year, the speakers will present IP and HD CCTV surveillance technology and software application case studies.

In addition, there will be the Fire & Safety Seminar and Industrial Safety Seminar where government and industry heavyweights will update audiences about the latest regulations and technologies, as well as Retailing Solution Seminar.
