The founding of the innovation park on the Dübendorf airfield means that RUAG Defence will have to move to this location from 2020. The ideal solution for the location has already been found.

 

All RUAG Defence staff at the Dübendorf facility will gradually move into a building belonging to air traffic control company skyguide, so that all the company’s employees will be based in the same building in future. This will improve internal working relationships and allow existing synergies to be better exploited. Added to this is the fact that RUAG Defence will also be located closer to the Swiss Air Force and the Command Support Organisation (FUB). 

 

This physical proximity to the customer will help to further expand the ground-to-air weapons systems business. A further benefit of the move will be closer collaboration between RUAG Defence and skyguide.

 

According to the implementation plan, RUAG Defence’s roughly 150 employees will move into the building from 1 April 2020.
