SELEX Galileo, a Finmeccanica Company, has recently been awarded contracts in Italy worth approximately 110 Million Euro for support and service solutions covering a number of programs. These include the Eurofighter Typhoon, Tornado, Grifo radar, simulators and Mirach target drones.
The biggest of these contracts is an award from BAE Systems for the maintenance of
Eurofighter Typhoon fleets in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Spain. For Italian
Eurofighters, SELEX Galileo delivers an innovative approach to contracting through the CMA program, providing a higher level of availability at a reduced cost.

“These contracts confirm SELEX Galileo as a prominent player in the support and service market, particularly in areas relating to the support of avionic systems and equipment”, said Fabrizio Giulianini, Deputy CEO of SELEX Galileo, adding “We are delighted with SELEX Galileo’s success in Europe, which is based on reliability and high levels of client satisfaction”.

Other contracts acquired include the support of the Company’s Grifo family of airborne
radars and support services for the SELEX Galileo Mirach 100/5 target drone, currently in use with French Armed Forces in the CELM test ranges.
