When high-ranking managers and officials converse on mobile phones, their conversations often contain information that is intended only for the person on the other end: It is essential that details about product developments, financial data, strategic and political plans do not become public knowledge ahead of time. IT officers are responsible for ensuring secure encrypted communications on many different types of mobile phones (which are often used for both private and business calls).

The TopSec Mobile from Rohde & Schwarz SIT meets precisely these requirements. Smartphones can be used as usual, with no restrictions. For a confidential call, users simply use the crypto headset, which is activated via Bluetooth®. The conversation is now securely encrypted. The TopSec Mobile now supports iPhones as well as Android smartphones. Support of other platforms is planned.
