The aim of this major shareholding is to position Vigie Aviation as an acknowledged actor for air surveillance missions in France and abroad.
This joining reinforces the link between DCI and Vigie Aviation. The two firms signed a cooperation partnership two years ago in order to propose flying personnel training in the field of maritime patrol and the execution of air surveillance services for attractive prices. Thanks to Chalair Aviation's arrival, the partnership allows the firm to have of a wider range of aircraft for its maritime and ground surveillance missions.
“The reinforcement of our links with Vigie Aviation is natural, as we already know each other well. This investment adds an additional asset to our presence in this sector and should allow Vigie Aviation to develop. We are convinced that together we can propose innovating and affordable solutions,” commented Admiral François Dupont, the new Chairman of Vigie Aviation.
“I am very pleased to see DCI and Chalair Aviation join us. We still have a quantity of things to build and propose on this expanding market, and need our partners' experience to support us in our development,” declared Christophe Perrier, Founder of Vigie Aviation.
“We are very proud to participate in this partnership with DCI and Vigie Aviation by allowing this young enterprise to increase in importance. This new challenge shows we are reaching new markets and that we position ourselves on the international level, especially in Africa and in the Pacific region,” said Alain Battisti, Chairman of Chalair Aviation.
