At the International Exhibition of Defense and Security Technologies, IDET 2015, Česká zbrojovka a.s. won the prestigious GOLDEN IDET Award for the CZ 4M VIP concealed ballistic vest that it exhibited. The competition results were announced on the 19th May during the early evening ceremonial event that was held at Špilberk Castle.

Česká zbrojovka a.s., Uherský Brod belongs amongst the leading global manufacturers of firearms. As part of its extensive program on behalf of the armed and the security forces it also pays great attention to the accessories that are essential for meeting the challenges that soldiers and police officers have to confront.

The Armed Forces & Law Enforcement Weapons Systems program of Česká zbrojovka a.s. is led by the product managers of the Department of Military Equipment and by the 4M Company, with their extensive experience from their deployment in real combat and in the security services. Based on their specifications a comprehensive range of body armor (ballistic) vests was created. Its latest addition is the winning CZ 4M VIP model.

The CZ 4M VIP ballistic vest is primarily intended to be worn concealed by important persons and by the personnel who protect them. It is suitable, however, for all the members of the security forces. In its category, defined in terms of its ballistic resistance, it is the lightest bulletproof vest on the global market. Its minimum weight - a mere 1.5 kg in the L size - has been achieved by utilizing the most up-to-date and sophisticated structured materials that, at the same time, provide the maximum degree of protection for the wearer.
