RUAG's commitment to training is confirmed by the company's current figures: at present, there are 130 apprentices* working at seven sites. And this exemplary figure has remained virtually unchanged in recent years.
In addition to the quantity of apprentices, the quality of training also plays a key role at RUAG Defence. The high standard of the training programme is underpinned by the fact that all 38 apprentices successfully completed their apprenticeship exams in summer 2015.
For the Defence Division, the training of young professionals will continue to be a high priority, because the key to success in the fast-paced technology sector is to plan for tomorrow today.
RUAG Defence trains apprentices in the following areas: Automation, equipment and apparatus manufacturing, electronic engineering, machine maintenance, IT, sales, design engineering, logistics, multimedia electronics, media, and polymechanics.
