RUAG is becoming ever more attractive as an employer in Switzerland. Once again, it has achieved a top ranking among the most attractive employers for engineering in Switzerland.

In this year’s Universum employer rankings, the international technology group was placed sixth, moving up two places compared to last year. For IT specialists and natural scientists, too, RUAG is gaining in appeal.

In a survey of professional engineers conducted by Universum, RUAG is in sixth place among the most attractive employers in Switzerland. The technology company was ranked eighth last year.

In addition, RUAG advanced nine places in the ranking among professional IT specialists and is now 24th, while it even moved up 25 places among professionals with training in the natural sciences to currently rank 38th.

Dr. Christian Ferber, Chief Human Resource Officer, is delighted at another good ranking and RUAG’s positive profile as an employer: “As an innovative technology group, RUAG offers its staff interesting and challenging work in an international environment. These factors are well known among potential employees.”

RUAG develops and markets internationally sought-after technology applications in the fields of aerospace, security and defense for use on land, in the air and in space. 57% of RUAG's products and services are destined for the civil market and 43% for the military market.

The Group is headquartered in Bern (Switzerland). It has production sites in Switzerland and in 13 other countries in Europe, the USA and Asia-Pacific. Around 8700 employees - of whom 430 are trainees - represent 48 nationalities and generate sales of some CHF 1.86 billion.
