14.06.2013 North America
ATK will participate as an exhibitor at the 2013 Paris Air Show and will highlight a variety of capabilities and programs at the show, which will be held at Le Bourget Airport from 17-23 June 2013.
“We are pleased to once again participate in the Paris Air Show. ATK is committed to delivering affordable innovation to its customers, and this event is an opportunity to showcase our highly engineered aerospace and defense products and capabilities in the international marketplace,” said Mark DeYoung, ATK's President and Chief Executive Officer (Photo).
ATK will highlight its growing capabilities in several business areas, including commercial and military aerospace structures manufacturing and in the satellite and launch vehicle markets, with products for the Airbus A350 and A400M aircraft, Rolls-Royce TrentXWB 84K and 97K engines, the Vivisat satellite life extension program and multiple launch vehicle programs. Rolls-Royce recently awarded ATK the Aerospace Supplier of the Year.
ATK will also demonstrate its Special Mission Aircraft capabilities, with a specific focus on the MC-27J Multi-Mission Aircraft. The aircraft utilizes ATK's multi-mission palletized Roll-On/Roll-Off weapon system, which is self-contained, modular and scalable. This system integrates enhanced electro-optical/infrared targeting sensors, a trainable 30mm cannon, precision-guided munitions, advanced communications and a networked mission management and fire control system.
ATK will also showcase its Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile (AARGM). AARGM (photo) is a supersonic, medium-range, air-launched tactical missile that provides improved capability to perform Destruction of Enemy Air Defense missions. AARGM is compatible with U.S. and allied strike aircraft, including all variants of the F/A-18, Tornado, EA-18G, F-16, EA-6B, and F-35 (external).
