SRC, Inc. announced it has appointed Matthew Tedesco (photo) Director of Business development for Army programs.
In his new role, Tedesco will be responsible for maintaining SRC’s strong relationship with the U.S. Army as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities in support of Army programs. Tedesco is a 28-year Army veteran and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role at SRC.
“Matt’s background and understanding of the Army will play a vital role in SRC’s ability to develop solutions that meet the needs of warfighters,” said Paul G. Tremont, CEO of SRC. “We are excited to have him as part of our team.”
During his tenure with the Army, Tedesco served in multiple command and staff level positions around the world, most recently serving as director, TCM Global Ballistic Missile Defense at Redstone Arsenal, AL. He earned a master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Army War College, a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Oklahoma and a bachelor’s degree in history from Pennsylvania State University.
Additionally, Tedesco earned three different Department of Defense (DoD) qualifications from the Defense Acquisition University, including capabilities-based assessment, advanced concepts and skills for requirements management, and fundamental and intermediate systems acquisition certifications.
Earlier, SRC, Inc. also announced that William Kramer has been named Assistant Vice President, Counter-UAS Programs.
In his new role, Kramer will lead the continued development and deployment of SRC’s industry leading counter-UAS systems to detect and defeat hostile UAS threats. He will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business unit and interface with new and existing counter-UAS customers. With a rapidly growing drone market, and rising threat from hostile drones, Kramer will play an integral role in ensuring SRC’s ability to continue providing counter-UAS capabilities to customers.
Kramer joined SRC as a senior program manager and was later promoted to business area manager. In 2011, Kramer was promoted to program director, LCMR and was responsible for the financial performance of all programs/contracts with government, commercial and international customers. Before joining SRC, Kramer worked for Lockheed Martin as a program manager responsible for managing Department of Defense radar and command and control systems contracts. Kramer also held a senior manager position at RLM Systems Pty. Ltd where he was assigned to the Jindalee Operational Radar Network project.
Kramer obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics from SUNY Oneonta and a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Syracuse University. In addition to his academic achievements, in 2015 Kramer was awarded the Honorable Order of Santa Barbara recognition by the US Army Field Artillery Association in 2015.
