Bahrain’s Commander-in-Chief Receives Indian Military Delegation

Bahrain’s Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received in Manama Tuesday the Commander of the Western Fleet of the Indian Navy Rear Admiral Ravneet Singh and his accompanying delegation marking the Indian naval warships’ visit to Bahrain.

The Commander-in-Chief welcomed the delegation, and lauded distinguished Bahraini-Indian relations.

Issues of mutual concern were also discussed, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

Inspector-General Major-General Abdulla Hassan Al-Nuaimi, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Catering Rear Admiral Youssef Ahmed Malallah and Commander of the Royal Bahrain Naval Force Commodore Sheikh Khalifa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa attended.

The Bahraini Commander-in-Chief also received in Manama Tuesday the Military Attaché at the Kuwaiti Embassy to Bahrain Major-General Ali Al-Suleiman Al-Asaker, who introduced to him the Commander of the Combined Maritime Forces (CMFCTF 152) Captain Nayef Khalid Al-Askar.

The Commander-in-Chief welcomed CTF 152 Commander, and reviewed with him the CFT152 duties and role in securing maritime navigation in the region.

They also discussed issues of common interest.
