Malaysian Chief of Defense Forces, General Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi bin Raja Mohamed Noor, arrived Wednesday in Bahrain International Airport on an official visit to the country, where he was received by Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Chief-of-Staff, Lt-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al Nuaim (photo).

Director-General of Military Cooperation Rear admiral Mohammed Hashim Al Saada and a number of senior BDF officers were also present at the reception ceremony, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

Earlier, Lieutenant General Al Nuaimi attended a graduation ceremony of a joint specialization session at a BDF unit.

After a recitation of some verses from the Holy Quran and a briefing on the session, the graduates performed practical applications that reflected precision in carrying out professional combat tactics acquired during the session.

The BDF Chief-of-Staff thanked participants in the session and the trainers for their efforts to meet the requirements of the session, praising the graduates’ high competence.

The graduation ceremony was attended by senior BDF officers.

Meanwhile, Commander of Bahrain’s Royal Guard Special Force Major Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa received at Sakhir Air Base a number of participants in the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF)’s task force, currently taking part in the “Operation Restoring Hope” in Yemen within the Saudi-led Arab Coalition.

He welcomed them and expressed sincere appreciation of their dedication in carrying out their sacred national duty alongside their brethren in the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in brotherly Yemen. He also hailed their noble sacrifices, courage and heroism while carrying out their national duty to defend the right, and support efforts to restore legitimacy to Yemen.

A number of senior BDF officers and families of the task force’s personnel were present.
