Bahrain’s Commander-in-Chief Inspects Defense Units

Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa conducted a field inspection tour to a number of BDF units to review the units' administrative and combat readiness.

The Commander-in-Chief was briefed by the units Commanders about the modernization programs, administrative and technical preparations and prospects for development to boost the performance and readiness, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa praised the excellent preparedness and high combat efficacy attained by these units in implementation of their military programs and projects in pace with the considerable progress being witnessed by the BDF in all fields.

He affirmed that thanks to the care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa the Supreme Commander, the BDF is continuously supplying and equipping all of its battalions and units with latest weapons and machinery and boosting combat readiness of its affiliates.

The BDF Commander-in-chief stressed the importance of loyal efforts to continuously upgrade and modernize the BDF’s capabilities in all combat, training and administrative aspects to preserve the kingdom’s historic accomplishments, security and stability.
