Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defense Force Inspects Units

Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, paid inspection visits to a number of BDF units, and was briefed about their work progress, as well as training programs aimed at enhancing the combat and administrative readiness and competence of their servicemen.
 
The Commander-in-Chief was informed about the level of the units’ military preparations, and readiness to face all challenges, along with other BDF units, as part of the BDF’s plans and constant efforts to keep pace with the latest military developments and innovations, and strengthen its combat and administrative readiness.
 
He gave directives to continue implementing training projects and programs aimed at enhancing the competence of the BDF human resources.
 
He also urged everybody to continue exerting all efforts in order to achieve the national goals, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.
 
The Commander-in-Chief expressed deep appreciation of the tangible efforts exerted by BDF servicemen at various fields, and their sincere readiness to make all sacrifices in Bahrain and abroad.
 
For his part, Bahrain’s Interior Minister, Lieutenant-General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, received in Manama U.S Ambassador to Bahrain, Justin Siberell, in the presence of Public Security Chief, Major-General Tariq bin Hassan Al-Hassan.
 
They reviewed the Bahrain-U.S relations, and discussed topics of mutual interest.
