Peninsula Shield Forces Commander Visits Bahrain

Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received Tuesday Commander of the Joint Peninsula Shield Forces Major General Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Balawi (photo) and his accompanying delegation.

The BDF Commander-in-Chief praised the efforts of the Joint Peninsula Shield Forces in boosting common goal and destiny binding the GCC countries.

The meeting was attended by BDF Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

Present at the meeting were Defense Ministry Undersecretary Major General Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, General Command Court Director Major General Hassan Mohammed Sa’ad, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Catering Rear Admiral Yussef Ahmed Malallah, Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Operations Major General Ghanim Ibrahim Al Fadhala and Senior Officers. 

For his part, Chief-of-Staff of Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi separately received the visiting Commander of the Joint Peninsula Shield Forces Major General Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Balawi and his accompanying delegation.

Al Nuaimi lauded the efforts made by the Peninsula Shield Forces Commander to boost the GCC military cooperation.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Operations Major General Ghanim Ibrahim Al Fadhala.
