Bahrain’s Commander-in-Chief Visits United Kingdom

Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa has visited the British Defense Ministry in the United Kingdom, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

He was received by General Sir Nicholas Carter, GCB, CBE, DSO, ADC General Chief of the Defense Staff (CDS).

 The BDF chief hailed outstanding and deep-rooted historic relations of friendship binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, stressing Bahrain’s keenness on strengthening and consolidating joint cooperation in all fields.

 The BDF chief and the British official discussed ways of strengthening joint military cooperation, stressing the importance of such meetings and visits in bolstering joint ties, wishing the continuation of such contact and exchanged visits for the sake of relations of friendship.
