HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister welcomed Admiral Gilday and his accompanying delegation and underscored the role played by the United States maintaining regional security and stability.
Furthermore, Bahrain’s Defense Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi, hosted a lunch banquet in honor of the US Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Mike Gilday, and his accompanying delegation.
The Minister lauded the depth of the historical relations between the two friendly countries. Senior BDF Officers also attended the launch banquet.
For his part, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, also received at the BDF General Command, the Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Mike Gilday, and his accompanying delegation.
Defense Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi, and Chief-of-Staff, Lieutenant-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, were present.
The two sides reviewed the Bahrain-US joint military cooperation and coordination.
