His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa hailed the strong relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, stressing steadily-growing ties on all levels, particularly military and defence cooperation.
This came as he received at Al Safriya Palace last week Pakistan’s Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Chairman General Nadeem Reza, who conveyed to HM the King greetings from Pakistani President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.
HM the King also extended greetings to President Alvi and Prime Minister Khan, wishing the people of Pakistan further progress and prosperity, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
HM the King noted the advanced level of bilateral relations, stressing the importance of such visits which reflect mutual keenness on further bolstering joint cooperation.
He commended the contributions of the Pakistani community to Bahrain’s development and progress across all fields.
He stressed Pakistan’s honorable stances to maintain regional security and stability. Major regional and international developments and issues of common concern were discussed.
General Reza expressed thanks and gratitude to HM the King, hailing his keenness on further strengthening bilateral relations bonding the two countries.
Later, General Nadeem Reza, and his accompanying delegation paid a visit to the Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College.
In another development, A delegation from the Saudi Armed Forces Command and Staff College, visited Tuesday a Military Museum of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
The delegation was informed about the museum’s halls and sections which feature a collection of historical collectibles, artistic military paintings and models which are considered as a documentation archive of Bahrain’s military history.
