His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Supreme Commander, has deputized the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, to attend the graduation ceremony of the 23rd session of candidate university officers, held Wednesday at the Isa Military College, in the presence of Defense Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi.
Some holy Quran verses were recited, and then the graduates staged a military parade. Then, a briefing on the session was given, and the results were announced, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
After that, the Defense Affairs Minister presented awards to top achievers. Then, the graduates took the official oath, and received their graduation certificates.
The Minister conveyed the congratulations of the BDF Chief to the graduates, as well as his praise of their success in meeting all the requirements of the training during the session.
The minister congratulated the graduates on the tremendous efforts they had exerted throughout the session in order to acquire military sciences.
Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi expressed delight at the graduation of the 23rd batch of candidate officers, wishing them every success in performing their patriotic duties and tasks, along with their brethren from various BDF branches, so that the BDF continues defending the kingdom, under the leadership of HM the King, the Supreme Commander.
Chief-of-Staff, Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, Defense Affairs Ministry’s Undersecretary, Major-General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Human Resources, Major-General Shaikh Ali bin Rashid Al Khalifa, and senior BDF officers attended the graduation ceremony.
In another development, BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa also received Wednesday Brazilian Chargé d’Affaires Alberto Fonseca.
Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqer Al-Nuaimi and Defense Affairs Minister Lieutenant-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi were present.
