Bahrain’s Commander-in-Chief Visits Royal Air Force

BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa visited the Royal Bahrain Air Force (RBAF) last week where he was briefed on the latest military equipment and advanced systems and programs for military training.

The Commander-in-Chief affirmed that thanks to HM the King and Supreme Commander’s directives, RBAF has become an advanced military system with the latest strategies. He praised the role of the loyal men who set wonderful examples of dedication and sacrifice to defend and protect the Kingdom, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

Meanwhile, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Major General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, received Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper, the Commander of United States Naval Forces Central Command, Commander, United States Fifth Fleet.

Major General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa welcomed him and reviewed with him means of boosting cooperation between the two friendly countries, mainly in the military and defense fields.

He lauded historical relations of friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the USA. He also stressed deep strategic partnership between the two friendly countries and mutual commitment to boosting security and peace in the region.
