Bahrain’s Commander-in-Chief Inspects Royal Bahraini Air Force

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), paid Sunday an inspection visit to the Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF).

The Commander-in-Chief emphasised the BDF’s role in defending the Kingdom, safeguarding its security and stability, and protecting its achievements, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and Prime Minister.

The Commander-in-Chief expressed pride in the BDF personnel, commending their noble service, combat readiness, administrative efficiency, and steadfast dedication to the Kingdom, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

Earlier last week, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Bahrain Armed Forces, met at Safriya Palace with Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander in Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).

His Highness Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander; Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard Special Operations; Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the BDF, and a number of Senior BDF Officers attended the meeting.

HM the King expressed appreciation for the dedication of all members of the BDF, commending their courage, loyalty, and commitment to their national duties.  HM the King underlined that the BDF personnel are held in the highest esteem and are a source of pride for Bahrain and its people.

HM the King extended thanks to the BDF for their efforts in safeguarding the Kingdom’s achievements and protecting its comprehensive progress, reiterating Bahrain’s keenness to further strengthen defence relations with other countries.

HM the King, the Supreme Commander, directed Senior Officers to convey his greetings and appreciation to all BDF officers, non-commissioned officers, and personnel across all fields of duty, wishing them continued success.

In another development, the 21st meeting of the Bahrain-Pakistan Joint Military Cooperation Committee convened at the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) last Wednesday.

The meeting was attended by Major-General Shaikh Ali bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Assistant Chief of Staff for Human Resources, and Lieutenant-General Tabassum Habib, Director General of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The sessions discussed several agenda items aimed at further strengthening military cooperation and coordination between the BDF and the Pakistani Armed Forces.
