Egyptian Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense Forces General Sedqi Subhi discussed with Kuwaiti Army Chief-of-Staff General Mohammad Al-Khudher ways of bolstering military cooperation on many fronts, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
The meeting between the two sides in Cairo delved into current Arab, regional, and international issues, and their repercussions on the security and stability in the Middle East, Colonel Tamer Al-Refai, Egyptian Spokesman of the Armed Forces said in a statement.
He added Al-Khudher also met with Chief-of-Staff General Mohammad Fareed.
He noted that the meeting highlighted several bilateral topics in military cooperation and trainings between the two countries’ armed forces.
Al-Refai said Al-Khudher praised Egypt’s role and its armed forces efforts in fighting terrorism and the important role they play in facing current challenges in the region.
