Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, witnessed the main phase of the tactical command centers project (Fatah-5) which is being conducted by the Northern Military Region and will continue for several days.
Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, leaders of the main branches, and a number of senior commanders of the armed forces, attended the event, Egyptian Armed Forces said in a statement.
Major General Ah Osama Naga, Commander of the Northern Military Region, gave a speech in which he thanked the General Command of the Armed Forces for the support it gave to hi region, stressing the keenness of its fighters to reach the highest rates of efficiency and combat readiness to carry out all the tasks assigned to them for defense as well as the security and stability of the homeland.
The stage began with a brief presentation of the project’s mobilization idea and the decision taken in the situation during the project. Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki discussed with a number of leaders and officers participating in the project the manner of executing their tasks, how to take decisions to face sudden changes during operations management and their mastery of them according to their different specialties.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, delivered a speech in which he conveyed greetings and appreciation President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, praising the outstanding performance achieved by the forces in implementing the project, and the keenness of the armed forces to pay attention to all elements of competence and combat readiness of units and to upgrading their capabilities in all fields.
Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, witnessed one of the stages of the project which included presentation of reports and decisions implemented at different levels and procedures for organizing cooperation and coordination between all formations and units during the stages of operations management.
The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces also discussed with a number of Commanders and Officers their tasks for the implementation of the project.
