The activities of the joint Egyptian-American training (SOF02), which lasted for several days, concluded in the Arab Republic of Egypt last week.

The activities were carried out by elements of the Egyptian paratroopers, Rangers forces, and naval special units with elements of the American Special Forces, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

The activities included training on storming a terrorist outpost inside a residential city, liberating hostages, and arresting terrorist elements, as well as measures to confront improvised explosive devices (IED), carrying out typical and atypical shootings, and first aid for life-saving reasons.

The training stages showed the distinguished level and the field and combat skills reached by the participating elements, which confirms the ability of the forces to carry out all tasks with accuracy and high efficiency.

The joint training (SOF02) provides a rich environment in mutual field and tactical expertise, which contributes to raising the level of readiness, combat, and technical readiness of the participating forces from both sides.
