Egyptian Army Organizes 472 Visits for University Students to National Projects, Military Units

Within the framework of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic of Egypt, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, to mindful all segments of society about the huge boom in the field of comprehensive development and large number of national projects implemented by the state, the Armed Forces, represented by the Command of the People’s Military Defense Forces, organized a number of field visits, with a total number of (472) visits, for Universities (public state funded - public community funded - private) students to a number of development projects and military units.

The visits included many national projects, including: Knowledge City of the New Administrative Capital - Bahr El-Baqar Wastewater Treatment Plant - a 500 thousand housing units’ project in the governorates - many industrial and investment cities in the governorates - the National Company for Fishery and Aquaculture - the National Black Sand Company - the National Company for the reclamation and cultivation of desert lands (the “Toshka project”), the Egyptian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The Commander of the People’s Military Defense Forces also participated with a number of university students in their visit to SILO FOODS for food industries and El Nasr for Intermediate Chemicals, where the capabilities and capacities of the company and the volume of production it provides in the Egyptian market as well as the volume of exports to many countries of the world were displayed.

The visits aim to increase awareness and knowledge among university youth of the national projects size implemented by the state and the extent of benefits they will receive within their studies, as well as identifying the size of job opportunities that these projects provide for young people and field follow-up of the size of the achievements made by the Egyptian state during the previous period.

The visits also included a number of field armies, military regions, paratroops and rangers forces’ headquarters, a number of naval and air bases, and a number of faculties of the Egyptian Military Academy, where the development and modernization of the Armed Forces units were displayed that reflected the combat and administrative competence of the Armed Forces units.

The students and faculty staff members expressed their happiness and pride about all the Egyptian state achievements they saw, and their pride in their Armed Forces and its support to the state institutions in implementing many projects. (Source & Photo © Egyptian Defense Ministry)
