Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, met in Cairo with General Mohamed El Ghoul, Chief of Staff of the Tunisian Land Army, and his accompanying delegation.
The delegation was received with an official ceremony at the Ministry of Defense headquarter, where the national anthems of both countries were played by the military bands.
The meeting addressed several topics of mutual interest in light of the military cooperation between the Armed Forces of the two brotherly countries across various military fields, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa expressed Egypt’s pride in its distinguished relationship with the Republic of Tunisia, emphasizing the Armed Forces commitment to strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise in various military domains for both sides.
In turn, General Mohamed El Ghoul extended his congratulations to Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, wishing him success in his role, and commended Egypt’s efforts in supporting security and stability in the region. He further affirmed Tunisia’s commitment to enhancing the fruitful military relations between the Armed Forces of the two countries in the upcoming phase.
