DRS Defense Solutions, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DRS Technologies, Inc., announced that its Intelligence, Communications and Avionics Solutions (ICAS) business unit in Merrimack, New Hampshire (USA), was awarded a $37.1 million contract for the production of an Electronic Warfare Battalion (EWB) System for the Jordanian Armed Forces.

Under terms of this Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract, the company will supply two advanced ground based Electronic Warfare Company configurations. Each consists of one electronic warfare operations center, two electronic attack systems and six electronic support/surveillance systems.

The award was made by the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey.
