As part of its support to the military in the Middle East region, BAE Systems will attend SOFEX 2016, the XIth Special Operations Forces Exhibition being held in Amman from the 10th-12th May 2016.
Demonstrating its capabilities across our land, air and electronic systems businesses, BAE Systems is focusing on key products and technologies that it believes will be of most interest to the Special Operation Forces and militaries from Jordan and the region who are attending the show. The products include:
- Land: M777 - the combat proven 155mm lightweight towed howitzer
- Air: Eurofighter Typhoon - the multi-role/swing-role combat aircraft and Hawk - advanced jet trainer
- Electronic Systems: ATIRCM - Advanced Threat Infrared Countermeasures; CMWS - Common Missile Warning System;APKWSTM - Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System laser-guided rocket; and GXP – Geospatial Exploitation products

The Special Operations Forces Exhibition & Conference (SOFEX) 2016, which is held at the King Abdullah I Airbase in Amman from 10-12 May, showcases the world’s largest fully-integrated and innovative Special Operations Forces, homeland security and peacekeeping forces equipment and solutions from around the world.
